5*. This place will not disappoint! We are from Chicago and like to go to great restaurants. This place is a hidden gem. The servers immediately greeted us with a friendly smile and took us to our table. (Bookings recommended. Small and popular). Caitie was our server but I could see that every server was attentive and very quick. She spaced out our meal perfectly. We ordered lobster bisque, tuna tower and wedge salad. The bisque is creamy and had loads of great lobster pieces throughout. I cannot rave about the tuna stack enough. Crispy wontons, tuna and avocado with a sriracha sauce. Damn so tasty! Enough for three people to share one each and try other apps! We ordered the Cajun red snapper and the brown butter sea bass. Now this is my fave fish for good reason and Louis knows how to cook to perfection the brown butter had a sweet vanilla touch to it that was perfect with the amazing mash. I know I sound like I am overselling but trust me on this! Then to kill us off totally we decided to take out the chocolate, raspberry and salted caramel bread pudding!!!! Cmon. This is not meant to be this light.. Apparently Louis told us he uses glazed donuts. What an amazing dessert. If you have a kid at Ohio University. Do yourself a favor! Money well spent and the best meal I have had for a long time. Great job! Totally worth the drive.

We have been here several times and have loved it each and time. Food is fantastic. Good service. It is usually busy and you will probably have to wait. It is 100% worth the wait. The Chilean sea bass was great. I have had grouper here and it was great. The shrimp and grits and the shrimp pasta are fantastic. Highly recommend the bread puddings for dessert. Our favorite local restaurant. It is every bit as good as the fancy places we have eaten in Charleston, SC which is a renowned food city.

We had to wait about 40 minutes for a table, which isn't bad on a Friday evening. The food was amazing. At our server's recommendation, I got the crab fettuccine which was amazing - creamy with a hint of heat. My friend got the Chilean sea bass which is what I will be ordering next time I go. The drink selection is good. We also had a brownie for dessert, which was definitely big enough to share. The bourbon sauce on it was excellent and the whipped cream was clearly homemade (as was everything else). While the entrees are not cheap, you truly get what you pay for with the food.

Absolutely wonderful!! The service was great, the atmosphere is wonderful. It is truly like a family get together with the lively conversations and wonderful smells going thru the air. Felt like a home more than a restaurant! Everything we tried was unbelievably good, from the cornbread and gumbo to the Alfredo with blackened shrimp!! It's not a big place and not many spaces to park so you better make reservations!!!

My wife and I travel for work from big cities to small towns and we love to try new places to eat. We can be pretty particular when it comes to food and cocktails. This place delivered on every thing they did. Great food good atmosphere and welcoming staff. It will be a regular stop for us when in town.

Just ate there this past week and got the Creole Fettuccine Alfredo with blackened shrimp, Best food I've ate in years. If not the best food I've had here in West Virginia. Do not pass this place up definitely go immediately do not second guess this is the place to eat. Really go now and get something you won't forget, and you'll be going the next day too.
